A quilt square contest that’s sew much fun!

Vote for your favourite Canada 150 quilt square at tomorrow’s Binder Twine Festival in Kleinburg

The annual quilt square contest is just one of the pioneer activities you’ll find at the Binder Twine Festival on Sept. 10. This year, Kleinburg residents and other visitors have been sewing up a storm, creating squares with red-and-white fabrics that will become the Canada 150 commemorative quilt. The quilt will be raffled off at next year’s Binder Twine Festival.

So make sure you drop by the quilt booth to participate in the annual Viewer’s Choice Awards to:

  • vote for the square you think should be in the centre of next years’ raffle quilt, and
  • buy a ticket for a chance to win last year’s squares, which have been magically sewn into this year’s Binder Twine Celebrates 50 raffle quilt.

Raffle tickets are $2 each (or three for $5). Imagine winning a quilt for just $2!
